The All New HR-V received a positive response after launching on Wednesday (23/3/2022). Since its release in the country, the number of orders has reached thousands of units.
PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) claims the number of orders for the All New HR-V has reached 1,265 units. This figure was taken from launch until March 24, 2022 at 17.30 WIB.
“We are grateful that the All New Honda HR-V was immediately received with great enthusiasm by consumers in Indonesia. The current high order number is also supported because this car has begun to be shipped and ordered at authorized Honda dealers throughout Indonesia. We will continue to strive to fulfill all requests for the All New Honda HR-V in the shortest possible time,” said Business Innovation and Sales & Marketing Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor, Yusak Billy in his official statement, Friday (25/3/2022).
Of the four variants released by Honda, namely HR-V 1.5L Turbo RS, HR-V 1.5L SE, HR-V E, and HR-V S, the best-selling type is the HR-V 1.5L SE. The trim is known to be priced at IDR 399.9 million (OTR Jakarta). Its contribution is 43%. And most of the initial orders for the All new Honda HR-V came from consumers in areas outside Java and Greater Jakarta.

The SE variant that is most ordered by consumers today carries a 1.5L DOHC i-VTEC engine that produces 121 PS of power at 6,600 rpm and a maximum torque of 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm. This variant has also been equipped with advanced features such as Remote Engine Start, Walk-Away Auto Lock, Smart Entry System, Electrostatic Touch LED Map, Air Diffusion Outlet with 3 air control modes, namely normal, diffusion and closed, and Panoramic Glass Roof. .
For the first time in Indonesia, Honda also presents the RS variant in the SUV model on the All New Honda HR-V 1.5L RS Turbo. The All New Honda HR-V 1.5L RS Turbo comes with a more sophisticated appearance and carries a 1.5L VTEC TURBO engine that produces 177 PS of power at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 240 Nm at 1,700-4,500 rpm. This model is priced at almost half a billion rupiah, or to be precise, Rp 499.9 million.
Prior to its launch in the country, the second generation of Honda HR-V was introduced in Japan, Thailand and Europe with positive responses from consumers. Even within a month since its launch in Japan, the second generation Honda HR-V has recorded sales of more than 50,000 units.
The car that competes in the medium segment of Sport Utility Vehicles (SUV) has sold 208,749 units since its introduction in Indonesia in 2015. In Indonesia, the second generation HR-V is targeted to sell 35 thousand units a year.
