Edouard Mendy on the shelves of As Monaco and Juventus. These two clubs are monitoring the situation of the African champion, who in December 2022 had refused an offer to extend his contract which he considered “disrespectful” because he was offered half of Kepa’s salary.
And according to Chels HQ, he would be in the small papers of Monaco and Juventus. “The rock club is looking for a replacement for its number 1 goalkeeper Alexander Nübel who will return to Bayern (end of loan) at the end of the season while Juve have for some time wanted a goalkeeper capable of competing with Szczesny”, reads -on in his post on Twitter.
Since the arrival of Graham Potter, Mendy was no longer seen as the first choice and at this moment too, Frank Lampard seems to be following the same path as his predecessor.
