It was on a very cold autumn evening that the polyphonic men’s choir Voxitanie stopped in Momères, in its church with perfect acoustics, to offer a concert of good quality. Before the doors opened, the heating was humming and it was in a soft and pleasant atmosphere that the audience settled in and the singers were able to let their voices express themselves. This group, which is made up of around twenty choristers (all from the Lourdaise region), two guitarists and an accordionist, performs the songs that we like to listen to, namely those which speak of our beautiful Pyrenees (Basque Country, Béarnais, Bigourdan, Catalan), those from distant countries which take us on a journey under the sun and palm trees, the successes of the Compagnons de la chanson and others… The delighted audience applauded loudly at these interpretations always well presented by one of the singers.
Mr. Roman, mayor of the town, who attended this concert warmly thanked Voxitanie for his performance.
