JOMBANG, KOMPAS.TV – A video circulating on social media shows plainclothes police officers being intercepted as they enter the Shiddiqiyah Islamic Boarding School Complex, Jombang, East Java, on Thursday (1/13/2022).
In the viral video, a man suspected of being a police officer from the East Java Regional Police was seen delivering a summons for the son of a pesantren kiai with the initials MSA.

It is known, MSA has been named as a suspect in an alleged molestation case.
“I’m just doing my job to deliver a summons for Mas Bekhi (MSA). If it’s not there, it’s okay, we won’t disturb the peace, gentlemen,” said the man in the video.
Meanwhile, tens of mobs who were holding ambushes were seen chanting several times, “Ya Jabbar, Ya Qohar.”
The Head of Public Relations of the East Java Police, Kombes Gatot Repli Handoko, confirmed that there was an ambush against the East Java Police investigator who delivered the summons for the suspect MSA.

“The video was Thursday afternoon. Investigators delivered a summons, but the person in question (MSA) was not there,” said Gatot when confirmed as quoted from Kompas.com on Friday (1/14/2022).
According to Gatot, the summons was the second time. However, investigators failed to meet MSA because the person concerned was not at the location.
