At the same time, the financial results of “Moller Auto” in the Baltics show that in October the turnover in the used car segment was 65% higher than last October, and in November – 39% higher than last year’s corresponding month.
“The past two months of this year mark the company’s records in the sale of used cars, and the significant indicators can be explained by the desire of buyers to buy newer and newer used cars,” adds Gerkena.
The company also informs that the most purchased used cars so far in December this year were “Volkswagen Passat”, “Škoda Kodiaq” and “Volkswagen Tiguan”, while in November and October the most purchased were “Volkswagen Tiguan”, “Volkswagen Golf” and “Volkswagen Passat”.
Gerkena also points out that this year “Moller Auto” significantly expanded its used car offer – in addition to “Volkswagen” and “Audi”, brands such as “Skoda” and “Volvo” are also available in larger quantities.
Buyers’ interest is said to have been boosted by changes in the procedure for calculating companies’ light vehicle tax. As a result, business customers are increasingly interested in purchasing a plug-in hybrid car.
