Molecular Biology Research Says Rats Will Give Birth to New Covid-19

NEW JERSEY – Recent research by biological scientists says mice can be carriers of viruses such as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) without symptoms (asymptomatic). This emphasizes the epidemic Covid-19 The next one will be born from a mouse.

As reported by the Daily Mail Saturday (20/11/2021), the findings were obtained from a Princeton University research study that carried out genomic analyzes of various mammalian species by looking specifically at the receptors carried by virus SARS.

Experts found evidence of several species of mice that were previously exposed to Covid-19 repeatedly causing the animals to develop a certain level of resistance.

The study was conducted by Molecular Biologist, Dr. Sean King and Computer Scientist, Prof. Mona Singh from the same university.

“Our study shows that mice that have lived long before are more likely to be infected with a SARS-like virus repeatedly. This raises the possibility that some modern mouse species may be asymptomatic carriers of the SARS virus, including those that have not yet been discovered,” he said.

SARS-CoV-2 is the virus that causes infection Covid-19 It is zoonotic, meaning it is transmitted from animals to humans.

Previous research has also shown horseshoe bats in China have various types of SARS without showing extreme symptoms.

Thus, identifying animals that may have similar protection against such infections and can serve as reservoir virus important to prevent future outbreaks.
