Moldovan Foreign Minister Nick Popescu on Saturday thanked Ukraine for its assistance with the evacuation of 9 Moldovan citizens from the Gaza Strip.
Popescu wrote about this on his Twitter (X), writes “European Truth”.
“Another 9 citizens of Moldova were successfully evacuated from Gaza and arrived today in Chisinau. Many thanks to Ukraine and my friend Dmitry Kuleba for helping to bring our citizens home from Cairo,” the minister wrote, noting “a new common diplomatic success.”

On November 10, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky announced the evacuation of another 160 of his citizens from the Gaza Strip in Kyiv and 9 citizens of Moldova.
Earlier, Moldovan President Maia Sandu reported that it was possible to evacuate from the Gaza Strip 36 citizens of Moldovaand thanked Romania and Ukraine for their assistance in this.
