“I sent an invitation to Minister Bolya for this visit already at our meeting during Green Week in Berlin. I am glad that he was able to come to Bulgaria and look at and try the variety of Bulgarian products, as this is the beginning of a good cooperation”, said Minister Vatev.

“I thank Minister Vatev for the invitation and hospitality and for the fact that we were able to visit this farm. As a continuation of our cooperation with colleagues from our ministry, we will come here again for a visit, bringing producers and sheep farmers from Moldova,” Minister Bolya said.

The two ministers were in the sheep farm of Galina Mircheva in the village of Petarnitsa, municipality of Dolni Dabnik, district of Pleven, one of the winners of the AGRI AWARDS 2024 competition, which raises over 850 sheep on its farm. Minister Bolya’s tour continued with a visit to winery with bio-certified vineyards “keyboard” in the village of Tipchenitsa, Mezdra municipality, Vratsa region. The owners of the winery aim to reduce the impact on the environment, both in the production of the wine and in its packaging.
