The Moldovan authorities refute the statement of the Russian Ministry of Defense that Ukraine is allegedly preparing a provocation in the unrecognized Transnistria.

“The state authorities do not confirm the information released this morning by the Russian Ministry of Defense. We call for calm and receiving information from official and trusted sources of the Republic of Moldova,” the statement says.
“Our departments are cooperating with foreign partners, and in case of a threat to the country, the society will be immediately informed,” Chisinau said.
On Thursday morning, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation accused Ukraine in the preparation of a provocation that will allegedly be carried out by units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in particular “with the involvement of the nationalist formation” Azov “.
