Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan qualified for the quarter-finals of the 2023 French Open after defeating Satwiksairaj Rankireddy at Glaz Arena, Thursday (26/10).
Ahsan/Hendra won 25-23, 19-21, 21-19 in 64 minutes. Ahsan’s backhand brought the score back to 6-7. Ahsan/Hendra equalized the score at 7-7 with a smash from Hendra.
At the start of this first game, Ahsan/Hendra made several errors with poor returns so they became targets for Rankireddy/Shetty.
After a tight duel, Ahsan/Hendra won 11-10 in the first game interval. The Daddies, nicknamed Ahsan/Hendra, were ahead 15-11, then walked away with 18-13.
