Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah tweeted to the Reds fans after it became known that the team did not qualify for the Champions League at the end of this season in the Premier League.
“I am completely devastated. There is absolutely no excuse for this. We had everything we needed to qualify for the Champions League next year, but we failed.
We are Liverpool and qualifying for this tournament is the bare minimum. Sorry, but it’s too soon for an uplifting or optimistic post. We have failed ourselves and you,” Salah wrote.
