On Monday, Rami Abbas, the agent of the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, put an end to the rumor of the player’s intention to leave Liverpool in the event that he failed to reserve a ticket to qualify for the Champions League next season.
Abbas tweeted on his Twitter account: “Non-speech. This matter was not discussed or thought about. It did not occur to us not to qualify for the Champions League.”
The struggling Liverpool ranks seventh in the Premier League, with 36 points from 23 matches, and is 9 points away from the places that qualify for the Champions League.
It is noteworthy that the Egyptian star achieved many records with the English team, most notably winning the Premier League title and the European Champions League.
Salah had signed a new contract, last July, after a long series of negotiations with Liverpool officials, as he is currently receiving the highest wages at Anfield.
