Mohamed Salah writes an Arab history in Liverpool

Sunday night was more than wonderful at “Anfield”, as Liverpool defeated its arch-rivals Manchester United 7-0 in the 26th round of the league, and the goals came with the signing of the Dutchman Cody Jacobo (2), the Uruguayan Darwin Nunez (2) and the Egyptian Mohamed Salah ( 2) and the Brazilian Roberto Firmino (1).
The match was particularly special for Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, who made two goals and scored the same, making him the historic scorer for the “Reds” in the Premier League with 129 goals, breaking Robbie Fowler’s record of 128 goals.
The Egyptian star also became the record holder for England’s derby goals with ten goals, and the first player to score in 6 consecutive matches against Manchester United in all competitions.
Salah expressed his happiness with this achievement in a statement after the match, saying: “This is the happiest day of my life. I have reached the goal that I have been aspiring to achieve since I arrived in Liverpool.”
With this victory, Liverpool raised its tally to 42 points in fifth place, three points behind fourth-placed Tottenham, with a match less, and revived its hopes of occupying a position that qualifies it to participate in the Champions League next season.
