Mohamed Salem, the agent of the player Mohamed Ibrahim, the former Egyptian clearing player and current Ceramica Cleopatra, talked about the scenes of his client’s failure to join Al-Ahly during the recent summer transfers.
The player’s agent, Mohamed Ibrahim, said in statements on the MBC Egypt screen: “There were already negotiations between Al-Ahly and the Egyptian Clearinghouse Club, and the proof is that the clearing department has left to announce that there are negotiations on selling the player Mohamed Ibrahim.”
He added, “The player’s focus during this period was with the Maqsas Club, because he has a contract and also his ambition is to join the Egyptian team.”
He continued: “There was no agreement between the Al-Ahly and Al-Maqasa administrations, and also the player was the captain of Zamalek Club and played for Zamalek for 13 years.”
Regarding Mohamed Ibrahim’s desire to join Al-Ahly, the player’s agent responded: “Al-Ahly began negotiations with the Masr Al-Maqsat Club before knowing the player’s opinion, and Muhammad Ibrahim Zamalekawi, son of Zamalekawi.”
The last summer transfer period witnessed a desire on the part of Al-Ahly to buy Mohamed Ibrahim, at the request of the Swiss coach Rene Weiler, the former Al-Ahly coach.
Last summer, Mohamed Ibrahim moved to the newly promoted team of the Egyptian we League competition, Ceramica Cleopatra, without announcing the financial details of the deal.
