Mohamed Fadl reveals the position of the Football Association regarding the return of the Egyptian Premier League

Mohamed Fadl, a member of the five-year committee in charge of managing the Football Association, confirmed that the Football Association is ready to resume the activities of Egyptian football and the Premier League during the coming period.

“We are ready to resume the current season of the Premier League competition, after it was suspended due to the new Corona virus,” Mohamed Fadl said in televised comments to the “Audience of the Third” program on OnTime Sport 2.

Fadel added: The Football Association has been ready with the league resume for two weeks, but no one knows what will happen tomorrow.

Muhammad Fadl continued that human health is the most important, but if he requests the return of the football industry, we are ready with the file, adding: The decision is sovereign, we cannot interfere with it, but as for the mechanism of preparing the clubs, it will definitely be a collective decision in the interest of everyone.

In the same context, Hossam Al-Zanati, director of the Competitions Committee in the Football Association, confirmed that he hopes to complete the activities of the Egyptian League championship and complete it for the end, despite its negative impact on the launch of the next championship, in addition to the negative impact on the system of ups and downs in the lower divisions.

Hossam Al-Zanati added, during his hosting of the program “Audience of the Third” broadcast on OnTime Sport 2: “We set a scenario for the return of the Egyptian League championship, provided that Cairo Governorate will host the championship matches in full, especially as they are full of stadiums and stadiums capable of hosting Premier League matches.”

Hussam Al-Zanati continued that the non-stop Premier League championship needs at least 60 days in order to be able to complete it, but that depends on the Champions League matches and the international agenda, whose dates will change significantly.

Al-Zanati pointed out that things are very difficult because of the limited time and the large number of matches, which amounts to 149 games, and that several scenarios are put in place to complete the league, but I wait for the green light from the country, but will the clubs accept playing after two days only rest and go into the third.
