Davids Sarkanis and Patrik Trasoons scored two goals each for “Mogo”/LSPA, Reinis Lejnieks, Gints Meija, Gustavs Bergs and Ričards Birziņš scored one each.
The goal of “Mogo”/LSPA was guarded by Oliver Banterson, “Hockey Punks” by Arturs Pavlyukovs. Vilnius hockey players had won only one point in the last seven games, and it was clear that Pavlyukov would have significantly more work this evening. 0:0 remained on the scoreboard for just over two minutes. Hari Schmidt’s shot from the blue line was corrected by Reinis Lejnieks, putting the guests in the lead. After six minutes, Aurim Gaidauskas could not stop David Sarkani, who beat Pavlyukova for the second time from in front of the goal. Patriks Trasūns hit the home goalkeeper above his left shoulder and Gints Meija threw the puck placed by Krišjānias Rēdlich into the empty corner, “Mogo”/LSPA going into the first break with a four puck advantage.
Two goals were scored in the second period. The Reds were first to the puck saved by Pavlyukov after a long shot by Renarts Berzis, and Trasoons corrected Hari Schmidt’s shot. In the third period, Sims Baltrūns took Pavlyukov’s place in the Hockey Punks goal. Baltrūns had to take the first puck out of their own goal after 2 minutes and 17 seconds – the goal was reached by Gustav Berg’s shot. Ričards Birziņš added a point to the match with an accurate shot in the upper left corner of the goal – 8:0 in favor of “Mogo”/LSPA.
Harry Schmidt was recognized as the best player in the “Mogo”/LSPA team, Roks Bacevičs was recognized as the best player in Hockey Punks.
