The word ‘unboxing’ is usually used by technology lovers, to see firsthand a new product is taken out of its box. But it turns out that big motorbikes like the Ducati Multistrada V4S can also be unboxed.
DetikOto was invited by Ducati Motors Indonesia to see first hand the process of unboxing their latest motorcycle adventure Ducati Multistrada V4S on Thursday (5/8/21) at the Ducati Indonesia dealer in MotoVillage, South Jakarta.
Like a new smartphone, the new Ducati Multistrada V4 which is only available in Indonesia, also arrived in a neat and safe condition wrapped in a brown cardboard that reads Ducati.
Without waiting long, the Ducati Multistrada V4S, which was still neatly wrapped in a pick-up car, was immediately ‘unboxed’ on top of the pickup.
Initially, the brown box was lifted and immediately saw a Ducati Multistrada V4S protected by an iron frame.

As a CBU or completely built up motorcycle, this Ducati Multistrada V4S was sent intact and almost all of its parts were installed. Only the handlebars, battery and windshield are visible not installed.
After removing all parts of the iron frame, Ducati mechanics immediately attached the handlebars to the Multistrada V4S and the almost intact motorcycle was lowered from the top of the pick-up car.
Furthermore, the Ducati Multistrada V4S is ‘enhanced’ by filling gas, installing windshields and mirrors in the service bay area. Once installed, Ducati immediately put the battery into this bike and started the bike.
Interestingly, the Ducati Multistrada V4S, which was sent intact, was already filled with engine oil and tire pressure. So that the Ducati Indonesia just refuel and also add air pressure to match the standard.
Furthermore, the Ducati Multistrada V4S is entering the Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) stage. Especially for the Multistrada V4S, because it already uses a variety of radars and sensors for its safety features, this PDI lasts longer than other Ducati motorcycles.

Price of Ducati Multistrada V4S
Ducati Multistrada V4S witnessed by detikOto its unboxing procession was the first in Indonesia.
This Ducati Multistrada V4S uses a 1,158 cc V4 engine capable of producing 170 HP. But what’s interesting, is not from the engine but a number of safety features that are paired with Ducati on this bike.
Currently, Ducati Indonesia gets 10 units of Ducati Multistrada V4S and is sold at a price of Rp. 939 million in off the road status.
