Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
The Democratic Party led by the Presidential Chief of Staff (KSP) Moeldoko sued Menkumham Yasonna Laoly and filed for ratification of the management results of the Extraordinary Congress (KLB) to the Jakarta State Administrative Court (PTUN).
The lawyer for the Democrat Party from the KLB, Rusdiansyah, said that his party’s lawsuit had been registered with Number 150/G/2021/PTUN.JKT on Friday (25/6). According to him, Yasonna became the defendant as an official or state administrative body.
“Today, the KLB Democrat attorney officially registered a state administrative lawsuit with the Jakarta Administrative Court with the material of the lawsuit asking the court to ratify the KLB which was held in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra on March 5, 2021, which resulted in Moeldoko and Jhonni Allen Marbun respectively as Chairman and Secretary General of the Democratic Party for 2021-2025,” said Rusdiansyah in his statement, Friday (25/6).
He hopes that the Jakarta Administrative Court will immediately hear and decide this case fairly and objectively.
“So the resulting decision will certainly win the Deli Serdang KLB, which is indeed the result of a democratic and constitutional forum of the Democratic Party,” he said.
In response, the Chairman of the Election Winning Body (Bappilu) of the Democratic Party Andi Arief reminded Moeldoko that suing the government because Yasonna decided to refuse to ratify the results of the Democrat Party KLB was a bad step.
He also reminded that Moeldoko could be charged with falsification of the Democratic Party Membership Card (KTA).
“I’m just reminding Mr. Moeldoko, firstly, it’s not good for KSP to sue the President because the Menkumham is an extension of the President. Second, you could be subject to the article on falsifying Democratic KTA because you’re not a Democratic member. , @Andiarief_, Friday (25/6).
