Modo’s Josef Ingman risks a fine after two (!) filmings in the match against Djurgården on Friday.
Pending the disciplinary board’s verdict, the club now chooses to suspend Ingman from playing in one match.

It was after Friday’s Allsvenskan meeting between Ö-viksklubben and Djurgården that attention was directed towards Modo’s back Josef Ingman. The reason was two situations where the 27-year-old was considered to play over and reinforce in close combat situations.
IC More’s broadcast was harshly criticized by expert commentator Fredrik Söderström.
– It will be embarrassing. It looks like he gets shot in the chest by a musketeer a few seconds later, he said at the time.
After the match, Ingman was reported to the Hockeyallsvenskan’s disciplinary committee, where he is being investigated for filming and risks a fine of up to ten thousand kroner.
The club’s message: Stays over the next match
While waiting for the verdict, Modo now choose to act themselves, by suspending Ingman from the team’s next match against Kristianstad this Wednesday.
– He will rest on Wednesday and then he will be back in action again on Friday, says Modo’s sporting director Henrik Gradin to Sportbladet.
Why have you made this decision?
– We want to highlight from the club’s side that we do not accept that type of actions. We feel that we cannot stand behind such obvious exaggerations and want to curb this type of behavior.
The decision emerged over the weekend, says Gradin.
How has Josef himself acted on the decision?
– He has accepted the decision and has expressed that he is very remorseful. This was never his intention, but now it turned out the way it did and then he has to take the consequences of it.
