Context
The Natural Risk Prevention Plan – Flood (PPRi) for the commune of Châteauneuf-du-Rhône was approved on January 11, 2017.
This document takes into account the flood risks caused mainly by overflows of the Rhône and several of its tributaries (the Riaille and its tributaries, the Valladas and the Merdary).
The examination of land use requests under the PPRi and the local town planning plan made it possible to identify material inconsistencies in the delimitation of hazard zones, issues and the regulatory zoning of the PPRi resulting in three specific sectors:
- Le Clos de la Fontaine
- Les Jardins du Valladas
- Le Morterol
The modification of the Flood Risk Prevention Plan (PPRi) concerns the correction of these errors.
The modification concerns a regulatory document of the approved PPRi:
- the regulatory zoning plan
Furthermore, the hazard map and the issues map are also modified.
