New Delhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday participated in the meeting of the Parliamentary Consultative Committee in Daman, the capital of the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli. In this meeting he said that today all the central laws have been fully implemented in Jammu and Kashmir. These laws have guaranteed equality and fairness to all, including Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, women, children and senior citizens.
Home Minister Shah said that 10% reservation has been made for the upliftment of economically backward classes in jobs and educational institutions in the state. Shah, the Union Home and Cooperation Minister, also discussed issues related to the development of Jammu and Kashmir and the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).

He further said that the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is fully committed to the overall development of Jammu and Kashmir. Many steps have been taken to promote the development of Jammu and Kashmir. The abrogation of Article 370 has proved to be a transformative step in Jammu and Kashmir, after which vast changes have been seen in development, security and socio-economic dimensions.
He said that the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi is committed to the security of India. He said that the welfare of the Central Armed Police Forces and their families is the top priority of the government.
