Vaccine maker Moderna is suing vaccine maker Pfizer and BioNtech for patent legal rights.
This is what Moderna writes in a single Press release.
– We are submitting this lawsuit to defend the modern mRNA know-how platform that we pioneered, invested billions of pounds in creating and patented through the decade in advance of the corona pandemic, claims Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel.
The patents concerned in the scenario were registered in 2010 and 2016.
The vaccine manufacturer does not want Pfizer’s corona vaccine taken out from the market place or a ban on long term income.
They also don’t want to claim compensation for product sales from the 92 very low- and middle-profits nations that obtained the vaccines by way of the Covax collaboration.
The lawsuit was submitted with a Düsseldorf regional courtroom in Germany and a Massachusetts district court in the United States.
