Today everyone can get the brand new patch for it Call of Duty: Modern Warfare to download. This time some things have changed and PC players in particular can squeeze their hands. After all, they get the same option as a console: removing specific parts.
Few nerfs & buffs this patch
If you go to the patch notes this time, something stands out: little to no buffs or nerfs have been distributed. Not at all in Modern Warfare, and only two weapons in Warzone. The only weapons that have been tweaked are the Kar98 and the SP-R 208. Where the Kar98 gets a minimum damage increased on range, this is reduced again with the SP-R 208. This makes the Kar98 a bit more attractive to use in Warzone and the SP-R 208 a lot less. The SP-R 208 was released 5 days ago with the nerfhammer whacked so let’s hope Infinity Ward didn’t graft the weapon into the ground.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare gets new game mode
Of course there is also the playlist update. This time it concerns Ground War, Gunfight, Deathmatch Domination + Dropzone, Gun Game TDM and HQ: Firefight. The latter is brand new! In HQ: Firefight you get points for capturing the HQ but also for making kills. Turn on those score streaks!
Not much else happens in Warzone: Blood Money Quads goes out, Plunder Quads comes in.
PC hard drives weep for joy
Because that 250GB SSD, where Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone just don’t be careful anymore, can finally breathe a sigh of relief. Console players were given the option to install specific components back in June of this year. Unfortunately PC had to wait for that and the wait is finally over. It is not known why this was not arranged much earlier for PC gamers. But that people are happy with it, that is certain. And it comes just in time because Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be released in a month and it will also require a lot of space.
