Kronstadt -Five years ago, in 2018, work on the redesign and contemporary furnishings of the Modern cinema in Kronstadt began and was completed in 2020. Because of the pandemic, it was only reopened recently, on October 24th, by Mayor Allen Coliban. In the first few days until Sunday October 29th, it will host the Dracula Film Festival. After this date, in addition to film screenings, various cultural and scientific activities will also be organized there. The science museum will be housed in the foyer. The entire work and equipment amounted to around five million lei and was secured from the city budget. The large former A hall was reduced from 350 to 186 seats. Cultural events and film screenings will take place there. The B hall, which served as a club until it was closed, now has 110 seats. The former C-room has now been designed as a changing room for the children.
