The moderator Daniela Písařovicová, one of the faces of the main news program Events, is leaving Czech Television after 16 years. For the reasons, she only stated that it was time to slow down and learn new things.
“It was not an easy decision, but I feel that now is the time for me to change,” Písařovicová explained her step. She will end this month on television, she did not give details about her further work.
The forty-one-year-old Písařovicová has been cooperating with television since 2004. She started in the economic newsroom, moderated by Studio ČT24, Interview ČT24 and a number of special broadcasts. Recently moderated Events and Events, Comments.
In 2010, she was awarded the TýTý award in the Discovery of the Year category. In 2018 she participated in the dance competition StarDance, she finished before the finals.

The forty-seven-year-old Světlana Witowská also finished this year’s moderation of the show Events and Events, Comments. She left both positions for personal reasons and at her own request. She returned to moderating the CT interview.
In addition to Písařovicová, the members of the Events team are now Marcela Augustová, Michal Kubal, Martin Řezníček and Jakub Železný. Jana Peroutková and Linda Bartošová have temporarily strengthened it since the autumn.
