Model project | City of Braunschweig

Braunschweig is one of 14 cities in Lower Saxony that have been selected as model municipalities for the reopening of shops and facilities in the city center. In the model project “Braunschweiger Weg”, the city wants to try out safe alternatives to lockdown together with retailers, restaurateurs and operators of leisure and cultural facilities as well as citizens in order to regain more economic and social life in Braunschweig while taking infection protection into account enable. A total of 150 companies and institutions are to take part in the “Braunschweiger Weg” model project.
