“Not if I become a priest, I’m here to find out – adds the former Most Handsome in Italy Edoardo Santini in the interview with The nation. – But I took that step that terrified me, that prevented me from being fully myself, ready in case to say ‘ok, I made a mistake’, but what I am certain of is that I will not regret this journey.”
And he reveals how he discovered his vocation. “In recent years I have had the opportunity to meet young people who, by showing me what it means to ‘be a church’, have given me the strength to investigate this question that I have carried with me since I was little, but which various fears prevented me from exploring further”, he explains Santini.
So, he adds, “last year, to take a first step, I went to live with two priests, it was the most beautiful experience of my life. An experience that allowed me to find in everyday life the answer that I expected to come from high”.
