As we reported earlier this summer, Bethesda partnered with AMD for Starfield, and as a result, FSR 2.0 (Fidelity FX Super Resolution 2.0) is supported on day one. Unfortunately, deals like this usually mean rival alternatives are unsupported, which means no DLSS for Nvidia users.
At least until a few hours before the game’s release today (for those who bought the deluxe edition), because there are always dodgy modders. As Idle Sloth pointed out,Nexusmods.com There is already a solution to replace FSR2 with DLSS or XeSS, and it’s free.
