Stuttering – The tragic end of an almost nine-hour search for missing persons in Hesse: a motorcyclist (28) had been searched there since Thursday – she was found dead at around 4.30am on Friday.
Her dog, who had accompanied her, was caught nearby: if it could talk, investigators wouldn’t be puzzled.
According to the police, the young woman left around 3.30 pm with a horse and a dog in the Modautal district of Klein-Bieberau. At around 8pm, the owner of the affected horse reported to the police.
A large-scale search then began, with the Rescue Dog Squadron with people detection dogs and area search dogs, as well as a police helicopter. With his help, the horse was located at 10pm in a forest between the Modautal districts of Webern and Brandau. There was still no sign of the woman and the dog.
Drone with thermal imaging camera finds a woman
During the night, the 28-year-old was then traced using a drone equipped with a thermal imaging camera. Emergency services could only determine his death. The permanent criminal service of the police headquarters in South Hesse has launched an investigation. At the moment everything looks like an accident.
