Mockers of Pakuwon Mall visitors with masks on Surabaya, East Java, Putu Arimbawa (28) has now been appointed as a Health Protocol Ambassador (Prokes) by the Surabaya Covid-19 Handling Task Force.
Putu is in charge of socializing the importance of implementing health protocols to the public. He also needs to be reminded if there is a violation around him
“The person concerned admitted that he was ready to become an Ambassador [Protokol Kesehatan] Covid-19, “said Head of the Civil Service Police Unit (Kasatpol PP) Surabaya City, Surabaya Eddy Christijanto, Wednesday (5/5).
Eddy said Putu admitted that he was ready to become an ambassador for health protocol when he underwent a social work sanction in the Social Pondok Environment (Liponsos) for 1×24 hours.
“That he conveyed himself yesterday while undergoing sanctions at Liponsos,” said Eddy.
So far, Eddy said Putu was cooperative in serving his sentence. Starting from bathing, entertaining, to feeding the residents of Liponsos.
Likewise when the arrest. Putu paid an administrative fine of IDR 150 thousand. Even when he made an apology in public, he did not mind.
“If there are still acting up again, of course (penalties / sanctions) will be accumulated and we will report (coordination meetings) with the Covid-19 Task Force Team,” he said.
Previously, Putu Arimbawa mocked the Pakuwon Mall Surabaya visitors who came wearing masks. Videos of Putu mocking the mall visitors were widely circulated on social media.
Until then, he was picked up by officers from the Surabaya Police Headquarters Reskrim on Tuesday (4/5). Putu then apologized to the public.
Putu admitted that he did not believe in the existence of the Covid-19 virus.
