Mocca d’or denied Corona aid

The Administrative Court of Münster today (March 28) dismissed the lawsuit brought by a catering company: it was about the so-called Corona November aid.

The operators of the Mocca d’or wanted to have 213,000 euros in Corona aid from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. In November 2020, the Münster district government only approved a small part of the aid requested. The reason: the operators themselves were responsible for the closure. Because the city of Münster had identified massive violations of hygiene measures and the Corona Protection Ordinance at the catering company shortly before the second lockdown in 2020. Namely: lack of sneeze protection, minimum distance not observed, incorrect contact lists, insufficient air circulation, no disinfection of everyday objects and a lack of disinfectants. In addition, the operators had not told their staff that four colleagues had tested positive for Corona.
