Mobilization in Ukraine – Rada exempts another category of citizens from mobilization – UNIAN

Verkhovna Rada exempted citizens who lost close relatives during the Joint Forces Operation and martial law from mobilization

Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine released from the mobilization of citizens who lost close relatives during the JFO and martial law.

As an UNIAN correspondent reports, for the adoption of the law “On Amendments to the Law “On Mobilization Preparation and Mobilization” regarding the expansion of the list of persons who are not subject to conscription during mobilization (№7481) voted 282 people’s deputies.

The law determines that women and men liable for military service during mobilization, whose close relatives (husband, wife, son, daughter, father, mother, grandfather, grandmother or full-blooded, half-blooded) brother or sister are not subject to conscription during mobilization, died or went missing during the implementation of measures to ensure national security and defense, repulse and containment of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as during the provision of national security and defense, repulse and deterrence of armed aggression against Ukraine during martial law.

Recall that the Verkhovna Rada also granted the right to deferral of conscription for military service for the mobilization of scientific, scientific-pedagogical and pedagogical workers.
