Everything is done to divide the employees, to transform his neighbor into a competitor.
After two years of pandemic, activity has resumed and so have profits. However, employers are still unwilling to share them.
At Roissy, the number of companies and subcontractors is constantly increasing, breaking the collective, deteriorating working conditions and accentuating precariousness.
“The strategy of calls for tenders and market takeovers has made it possible to reduce our wages and our social rights” denounces Kamel Brahmi, secretary general of the UD 93 CGT.
Despite the vigorous recovery, employers are closing the door to serious wage negotiations and continue to systematically lower the cost of labor and favor profits and dividends paid to shareholders.
All this in a context of galloping inflation (+4.8% in one year), which makes the question of wages all the more fundamental: gas, fuel, food and basic necessities are more and more expensive, forcing sometimes workers have to make difficult choices for their families.
“On the Roissy platform, despite the resumption of traffic and the profits made, our work is not paid at its fair value” deplores Kamel Brahmi.
To reduce social inequalities, increasing wages for all is the only solution.
To fight against precariousness, all employees of the airport platform and all trade union organizations of Roissy companies call for a united strike on June 9, to demand a 300 euro gross increase in basic salary for all employees, immediately and without conditions.
The unity of the workers, united in a collective fight, is the best way to bend the employers, and to force them to accept the opening of early wage negotiations.
The departmental unions of all the trade union organizations of Seine-Saint-Denis, the CGT Transport Federation support this mobilization and call for the convergence of struggles and the mobilization of all employees of Roissy airport for the increase in wages.
