MOBILITY: Registration open for the second edition of “Dijon without my car”

The participants in the operation organized by Divia in June will entrust their cars and will choose other modes of travel for a fortnight. Registration open until June 1st.

Dijon without my car: registrations are open!

– Recruitment for the second general public edition of “Dijon without my car” is launched!
– For two weeks, residents of Dijon who wish to do so will be able to do without their car and take advantage of DiviaMobility services free of charge.
– The event, which was a great success in 2019, this time takes place in a particular context linked to the rise in fuel prices.

The principle :

Until June 1: people who want to try life without a car can register online, by going to the following address: Registration Dijon Without My Car – Divia

Friday, June 10: participants entrust their cars to the DiviaMobility teams. They will be parked in safety, for fifteen days, in one of our car parks under construction.

Until June 24, they will choose new modes of travel (bus, tram, bicycles, cargo bike, car-sharing, carpooling, walking, etc.) while enjoying faithful support from the various partners. Information, advice on itineraries (home/work or other) in order to simplify as much as possible all their travels during this challenge, will be offered to them.

Partner benefits:

For the duration of the operation, DiviaMobilities provides free unlimited access to its various services: unlimited Bus&Tram (for the whole household, children and spouse), access to DiviaVelodi self-service bicycles, rental of a DiviaVélo, access at the DiviaVeloPark…

The partners will also offer loans or benefits: Citiz BFC (discovery of car-sharing vehicles), Douze-Cycles (loan of cargo bikes).

(Re)Discover life without a car… and without gasoline:

This event is open to everyone, whether family or single, active or retired, already subscribed. Everyone has a good reason to take up the challenge and learn from it for their daily lives. It is then up to the participants whether or not to extend this adventure, which is part of a particular context, linked to the rise in fuel prices and the ecological emergency. The experience therefore appears to be an ideal opportunity to rethink one’s travels and take the step towards a life without a car.

A second edition in the wake of a successful first in 2019:

In 2019, the first edition addressed to the general public had met with significant success. Nearly a hundred people, spread over 60 households, had registered. At the end of the experiment, more than ten people had subscribed to the Bus&Tram network, while another ten people already subscribed had seen their use of the transport network increase after the challenge. 20 other people had become occasional customers and 9 had subscribed to a DiviaVélo subscription.
