Suchitepéquez, Jul 10. (AGN).– Health services continue to reach communities of Suchitepéquez with the Mobile Vaccine plan.
The strategy is being developed this week in the communities of Patulul and San Antonio Suchitepéquez, which makes it possible to reach the homes of Guatemalan families who live in remote areas.

During the tours carried out by Health personnel, the population is urged to start or complete vaccination schemes, especially children, to protect their health and well-being during their growth and development.
In addition, people are called upon to use the services provided at health posts and centers, which makes it possible to prevent risks such as malnutrition in girls and boys, various diseases, as well as detection of dangers during pregnancy.
Through Mobile Vaccine the following is provided to the population:
General consultation Prenatal control Papanicolaou examination Vaccination for children under five years of age, preventing diseases Family planning Start and complement of diverse vaccination scheme Protection of childhood nutrition, by means of weight and height control Dewormers and vitamins
During 2023, the Vaccina Móvil plan has traveled through communities in Chiquimula, Jalapa, Alta Verapaz, Huehuetenango, Totonicapán, San Marcos, El Progreso, the Ixil, Ixcán and central Quiché areas, Quetzaltenango, Sololá, Chimaltenango and, currently, Suchitepéquez.
