Guatemala City, July 3. (AGN). As of today, residents of Chicacao and San Antonio Suchitepéquez will benefit from the plan’s comprehensive health care sessions Mobile Vaccine, action that has allowed reaching the most distant towns in the country, bringing the broad portfolio of services closer.
Two routes are scheduled for this week. In the first one you will arrive at Eca Bella Linda, San Antonio Las Flores, Victorias canton, San Juan Coca and Brisas del Moca, in Chicacao.
On the other hand, the Health personnel will visit the San Mauricio, Monseñor Rosario, Santa Rita community, Bolivia y Canales village of Santo Domingo Suchitepéquez on the second route.

Mobile Vaccine began in communities of Chiquimula, Jalapa and Alta Verapaz. Subsequently, the Health units and personnel traveled to Huehuetenango, Totonicapán, San Marcos, El Progreso, the Ixil, Ixcán and central Quiché areas, Quetzaltenango, Sololá and, currently, in Suchitepéquez.
This action by the Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance -MSPAS- It has the support of the Institute of Nutrition of Central America and Panama -Incap-.
Initiative
With the purpose of supporting the communities in health issues, the Mobile Vaccine brigades are coordinated by the MSPAS. This portfolio is responsible for identifying the most vulnerable areas with difficult access to these care services.
Therefore, the groups are made up of ministry personnel, nutritionists and support staff with experience in nursing and promotion of medical services.
The goal is for health professionals to visit each of the regions, looking for cases of acute malnutrition in children under 5 years of age. This to start or follow up on treatments that help counteract the conditions in which they reside.
