The DIF Coahuila summons the Ramos Arizpense population to attend the sampling for the detection of breast, cervical, or prostate cancer, through the mobile unit that, this week, will provide service at the Municipal DIF facilities.
Luis Humberto Valdés Rodríguez, municipal director of Health, explained that as part of the promotion and prevention actions, mammograms, pap smears, and prostate antigen will be resumed.
“This is a service that was provided in the Ramos Arizpe DIF brigades, which had to be suspended due to the pandemic, however, we received the support of Mrs. Marcela Gorgón, and Mrs. Anilú Cavazos, so that people can once again go to have their check-ups done ”.
The mobile unit will be in operation at the Ramos Arizpe DIF throughout this week, from 9 in the morning to 1 in the afternoon.
“We invite all women with an active sexual life to come to the collection of samples that allow them to assess their health, and detect cancer in time for immediate treatment. While, in the case of men, it is from the age of 40 when the evaluation should be carried out to rule out prostate cancer ”.
The official recalled that the samples are made free of charge, and the appointment process is not required.
