A separate chapter is Poland. There, T-Mobile pays 255 crowns for 8 GB of data, which is enough for normal operation, and if you want to increase the limit to 70 GB, it costs about 425 CZK per month.
–
O2 in the Czech Republic increased the volume of data from 6 GB two years ago to 14 GB and did not move the price. But it requires quite a few – 849 CZK per month. O2 in Slovakia collects 762 crowns for 10 GB, but also offers another 30 GB for applications such as WhatsApp, TikTok, Instagram or HBO Go.

Internet without restrictions
However, the trend is unlimited data. For cheaper tariffs, this means that the user is not limited by the volume of downloaded or sent data, but by the speed. It should not be limited to speeds lower than 10 megabits per second (Mbit / s) for smooth viewing of movies in full resolution. More expensive flat rates then include unlimited data at the highest possible speed.
–
Until Tuesday, Vodafone in the Czech Republic offered an unlimited data tariff with a limited speed only if you also use fixed internet at home. The price for individuals then came to CZK 799 plus the price of the fixed internet. From Tuesday, it is possible to purchase such a tariff for the same price separately without internet at home.
–
T-Mobile will release the Internet with a data volume of 50 GB and a speed limited to 10 Mbit / s to CZK 1,275, O2 offers unlimited data with a maximum speed of 20 Mbit / s for CZK 1,299.
–
However, in the UK, you can get a Vodafone tariff limited to 10 Mbit / s for 762 crowns without the need for fixed internet. At T-Mobile, it will be 100 crowns cheaper per month than in the Czech Republic, for example in Croatia, Hungary or the Netherlands.
Completely unlimited tariffs, where you can transfer data at full speed, will cost CZK 1,599 in the Czech Republic, CZK 1,575 in T-Mobile and CZK 1,199 per month from Vodafone on Tuesday, previously the price was CZK 1,799.
–
In the UK, for example, such a tariff at Vodafone costs 30 pounds, in terms of 883 CZK, ie barely half. To do this, it is necessary to count on significantly higher purchasing power in the British Isles, so for the locals this tariff is even cheaper.
Similarly, in Portugal, Vodafone has data at speeds of up to 1 GB per second for CZK 1,143. In the Netherlands, T-Mobile also offers unlimited data speeds in the new 5G network for CZK 889 per month.

The amendment to the law did not move the price
Last year’s amendment to the law did not help significantly stir up Czech prices, when the fine for switching to another mobile operator fell from 20 to five percent of the price remaining until the end of the contract, while terminating a fixed-term contract after three months does not cost customers anything.
