New design and lock screen shortcut
The digital ID card from Bank ID is being redesigned, so that it will be easier to use and the app will receive a partial new design.
According to Bank ID themselves, easy access to the digital ID card is one of the most common requests from users. With the latest app update, the Bank ID app has received a widget. It allows you to add the digital ID card as a shortcut directly from the lock screen in the iPhone.
At the same time, the app gets a partially new design and improved security features.
– In addition, we increase the strength of the sound so that it will be better for those who check the ID card. The sound is one of many security protections built into the digital ID card, says Petter Dahl.
To get the new widget in place on the home screen, after updating to the new app, you need to install the widget. You do this by first pressing the phone’s locked screen so that it lights up. Then press and hold your finger on the screen to make customization available. Select Customize, then Lock Screen, and click in the box where widgets fit, below the clock, to add the new shortcut.
