Liverpool FC beat Manchester United 3-0 away on Sunday. In the victory against their arch-rivals, Mohamed Salah (32) not only became the match winner with a goal and two assists, he also extended an impressive series.

Salah has scored a goal in each of his last seven appearances at Old Trafford. However, the Egyptian seems to be feeling right at home at the Red Devils’ home ground. Since the beginning of 2021, he has been ranked fifth among all goalscorers who have scored at the Theatre of Dreams since then – a disgrace for all United fans.

With Marcus Rashford (26 years old/ 31 goals), Bruno Fernandes (29/ 29), Cristiano Ronaldo (38/ 17) and Scott McTominay (27/ 13), only four Manchester professionals scored more goals in front of their own fans than Salah (10) during his visits.

On Sunday, however, Liverpool FC’s attacking star may have caused a scare at Old Trafford for the last time. After the final whistle, he indicated that he will no longer play for the Reds in the summer.

“I’ve had a good summer. I’ve had a lot of time to be completely focused and think positive because, as you know, it’s my last year at the club,” Salah told Sky Sports. “I just want to enjoy it and not think about it. I feel free to play football and we’ll see what happens next year.”

Salah, who was heavily courted by clubs from the Saudi Pro League last year, also stressed that no one had spoken to him about his expiring contract, which is why he wants to wait and see.
