Nearly a hundred people attended, this Monday noon, the political meeting organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vaudreuil-Soulanges (CCIVS). For the occasion, the MNA for Vaudreuil, Marie-Claude Nichols, discussed various regional issues with the business people present.
The event, which was held at the Atlantide Golf Club, in Notre-Dame-de-l’Île-Perrot, brought together several elected municipal officials, including the Mayor of Notre-Dame-de-l’Île-Perrot, Danie Deschênes . The mayors of the cities of L’Île-Perrot, Pincourt, Vaudreuil-Dorion and Les Cèdres, namely Pierre Séguin, Claude Comeau, Guy Pilon and Bernard Daoust.
Several representatives of community organizations were also present, as well as many business people.
During the meeting, the Independent Member for Vaudreuil took the opportunity to discuss issues in the region, in particular the construction of the new Île-aux-Tourtes bridge, the fluidity of traffic on the territory, the construction of the hospital and housing.
Ms. Nichols also discussed the various bills being studied in the National Assembly as well as her role and responsibilities as an independent Member.
All in all, the event allowed many exchanges between the guests and the MNA and was greatly appreciated by all.
