“MMA Fighter Karlos Vémola Talks Retirement & Last Matches with Attila Végh”

When Karlos Vémola lost in a match with Patrik Kincle, many questions arose as to what will happen to the wrestler now. He let it be known that if he really couldn’t defeat Kincl, he would lose everything. “Every ride ends once. Either I’ll be at the top or I won’t do it at all,” Vémola said on the fightcast.one podcast. The MMA fighter spoke about the end of his career and said exactly when the move will take place. Only the last year awaits him at the top!

MMA fighter Karlos Vémola has many years behind him, successful wrestling career. During the time he was active, he was able to move Czech MMA to a completely different goal, and he certainly entered its history forever. However, as it seems and as the beater himself let himself be heard: “Every ride ends once.”

After the last match with Patrik Kincle, in which Karlos experienced an unpleasant defeat, the fighter admitted that he felt mentally at the bottom. He confided that he was fighting with himself and didn’t know what to do. Now, for the first time since the loss, he has shared his feelings publicly for the first time on a podcast fightcast.one. Karlos talked about what will happen next. And he talked about the end of his professional career!

Every ride ends once

Already after the loss to Kincle, many people thought that Vémola would suddenly announce the end of his career – but that did not happen. However, thoughts of this scenario occurred to the fighter: “The match went as it did. I have to admit that my body is not giving it anymore. I have to realize that I can’t beat guys I used to beat anymore, I can’t dominate. Every ride comes to an end and this was a big ride.” Vémola spoke in the podcast, and it was already clear what topic would follow.

“I have already agreed with Oktagon for a match with Attila Végh. Although I made it known before that if I’m not able to beat Kincl then there’s probably no point in fighting Végh since he’s better, but I’ll make it. With me, a given hand is worth it,” continued Vémola.

Vémola said how he will end his career

Karlos would like to end his career with a rematch with Slovak wrestler Attila Végh. “If Oktagon and Attila are interested in the match, I will enter it. It will be such a Grand Final. It will be my last match to say goodbye to this great run.” shocked. The match should take place this October. But the fight with Végh is not the only one he would like to make.

Even before that, fans may still see Karlos in the cage. Vémola is now aiming for a match at Štvanice, i.e. at “the most beautiful tournament of the year”, as described by the promoters of the Oktagon. “If Oktagon would also give me Štvanice as an extra bonus, I would be grateful. I would enjoy the last year of my career to the maximum, at the end of the year I would give 4 matches, no matter how they turn out,” he says.

What will be next? Karlos has a clear vision

And what does Karlos plan next? First of all, he wants to save his health, but above all he plans to be a great father and husband. He is far from done with combat sports either – he intends to devote himself to youth and promising talents. “After the fight with Attila, I will just focus on other things. Raising young and new talents, raising my own children and spending time with my family. Unfortunately, nothing big is waiting for me anymore and I won’t beat myself up about it.” concluded.

The day after the fateful clash, Karlos also spoke about his loss to Kincle social networks. At that time, he informed the fans that the steps that will now follow must be carefully considered.
