MLS tournament is back: ten minutes is enough in Orlando

Orlando City SC took advantage of the first 10 minutes of their game against New York City FC to quietly dash to a gain of 3 to 1, Tuesday, in Orlando.

Lions midfielder Chris Mueller started his game on high. From the fourth minute, he took advantage of a free kick from his defender Joao Moutinho to redirect the ball into the back of the net. Then at 10e minute, he enjoyed a magnificent pass game from his teammates Ruan Gregorio Teixeira and Dom Dwyer, before foiling the opposing goalkeeper for the second time.

Canadian striker Tesho Akindele took advantage of his entry into the game in the second half to score his third goal.

Jesus Medina was the only goal scorer on his team. He reduced the spread to just one goal, minutes before the end of the first half.

It was the tournament’s second win for Orlando, while NYCFC suffered a second loss in as many games.
