Xherdan Shaqiri ended his first season in MLS with a draw. At home, Chicago were forced to draw 1-1 by New England.
Shaqiri played the entire match, the last one before joining the Swiss squad for the World Cup in Qatar.
It was without a pole for the fire of which the non-qualification for the playoffs was recorded for almost a month. Not involved in Alex Monis’ tie in injury time, Shaqiri will have scored 7 goals and managed 6 assists in 27 games with Fire.
Shaqiri will take ten days off before resuming training. “Xherdan didn’t get a haircut this summer”Murat Yakin said.
