CF Montreal is back to work this week.
The club’s management said in a statement that the 2023 training camp would start on Friday with medical tests running through to Sunday, in addition to physical tests on Saturday. The players will have their first training session of the year on Monday 9 January at the Stadio Olimpico. The team will train in Montreal until February 4th.
This will be a first chance for new coach Hernan Losada to get to know his troops.
The team will then continue its preseason in Florida, first at Inter Miami CF’s training facility, the Florida Blue Training Center in Fort Lauderdale, from February 5 to 17, then in St. Petersburg until February 24, at the Al Lang Stadium.
CF Montreal will play their first game of the season on Saturday February 25 at 19:30 against Inter Miami FC, at DRV PNK Stadium. The club will play Austin on March 4 and Nashville on March 11, before playing their home opener on Saturday, March 18 at 7:30pm at Olympic Stadium against MLS Cup 2022 runners-up Philadelphia Union.
