MLS begins: When will the Peruvians play in the US tournament? ag

Major League Soccer kicks off on February 26, and teams from each conference will try to take the title of champion from New York City of Alexander Callens. Among the participating teams, there are Peruvian players who seek to be relevant for their teams, and thus achieve to overcome the conferences.

In the following note, we will share with you the schedule of the Peruvian matches in the Major League Soccerand what awaits them for this 2022 season.

6:00 p.m. San José Earthquakes (Mark Lopez) vs. New York Red Bulls

Marcos López’s San José Earthquakes begins the Major League Soccer receiving New York Red Bulls, at Earthquakes Stadium. Last season, San José was 10th in the Western Conference, and in 21st place with 41 points in the general table,

6:00 p.m. DC United (edison flowers) vs. Charlotte FC

At Audi Field, DC United with Edison Flores will host Charlotte FC for the first MLS date. DC United failed to make it out of the Eastern Conference and stayed in 8th place, and in the overall standings it was 16th with 47 points. For its part, Charlotte FC currently has Yordy Reyna, and will play its first season.

Sunday February 27, 2022

1:00 p.m. Orlando City SC (Pedro Gallese) vs. CF Montreal

The goalkeeper of the Peruvian national team, Pedro Gallese, makes his debut in Major League Soccer, when his team, Orlando City, receives a visit from CF Montreal. Last season, Orlando City made it through their conference, however, they were eliminated by Nashville SC in the first round of the playoffs.

5:00 p.m. L.A Galaxy vs. New York City FC (Alexander Callens)

Peruvian center back Alexander Callens kicks off Major League Soccer with a visit to LA Galaxy. The Peruvian comes from being champion last season, after beating Portland Timbers on penalties.

8:00 p.m Seattle Sounders (Raul Ruidíaz) vs. Nashville SC

Seattle Sounders start the MLS by hosting Nashville SC, and for this they will have their striker, Raúl Ruidíaz. The Peruvian has 61 goals in 96 games with the team, being an important piece for the season.
