Caracas Venezuela /
Press LVBP.- Several journalistic reports have revealed the delays suffered by some Venezuelan players to report to their teams at the start of the MLB Spring Training due to the procedures to obtain US work visas.
The coronavirus pandemic interferes with international travel and that makes procedures even more difficult, taking into account that the process to obtain the document cannot be carried out in Venezuela.
#Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said they’re still working through the visa issue with Keibert Ruiz. He’ll have to self-quarantine when he returns.

The last to join the group is the catching prospect Keibert ruiz, according to journalist Juan Toribio, who received the information from the manager of the DodgersDave Roberts this Saturday. The Los Angeles team opened its Arizona facility to start the preseason on Wednesday, and a day later the catchers and pitchers began reporting.
The talented Ruiz is expected to be the main backup to starter Will Smith at some point in the season. Once you are in the United States, you must undergo quarantine, due to the biosecurity protocols of MLB.
The right Franklin Pérez (Detroit Tigers), managed to report this Saturday, after resolving the management of the document. However, the delay could affect the plans of players looking to earn a spot on the Opening Day roster.
