The Venezuelan and shortstop for the New York Yankees Oswald Peraza, are entering the organization’s training for the start of Spring Training, with the main objective of earning a position on the organization’s roster.

The player of 22 years oldwas one of the first position players to report to spring training, which suggests his commitment to being able to stay with the big team, for the start of the 2023 season.
This is why he showed all his power in training today, by hit a home run before the shipments of one of the best pitching prospects for New Yorkers, such as Yoendrys Gómez, who is also born in Venezuela.

The young man made his debut on February 9, 2022 but had less playing time than his Venezuelan compatriot due to being demoted to the minor leagues and being called back to the big team, with 18 commitments in the regular season, with 15 hits, 3 doubles, a solo home run and two RBIs leaving a .306 batting average
With this, he continues to strengthen his performances in training to have the most playing time in the Spring Training and being able to be among the main candidates to keep the shortstop position, which is one of the unknowns that Aaron Bonne’s coaching staff has at this time.
