MLB: Charles Leblanc cautious in his return to the Majors

After a promising debut in the MLB in 2022, Quebecer Charles Leblanc was unable to participate in the Majors again.

Memorial Saturday, after injury Luis Rengifolet Leblanc play his first game since October 5, 2022 on Sunday afternoon.

The 28-year-old athlete from Laval played third base for the Los Angeles in a 3-2 win against the New York Mets Sunday.

Leblanc was careful offensively and could not put the ball in a safe place. From his first presence at the plate in the second inning, Leblanc was able to draw a walk to reach the walks.

Leblanc wasn’t particularly busy defensively, but he made a few routine plays to get out at first base after that. He was taken out of the game in the eighth inning.

This season at the AAA level, Leblanc has a .262 batting average as well as hitting 12 home runs and driving in 48 runs.
