On Sunday, the Red Sox hit five long balls in the first four innings en route to a convincing 12-2 win over the Baltimore Orioles in Boston.

Bobby Dalbec, Franchy Cordero, Rafael Devers, Christian Arroyo and Enrique Hernandez all sent shots from Bruce Zimmermann (2-3) into the stands.
Xander Bogaerts, for his part, contributed to the victory with three hits that allowed him to drive in two runs. In total, the Red Sox got the ball to safety 15 times.
Sent to the mound to start the game, Nick Pivetta (4-4) was responsible for muzzling the visitors’ attack by allowing only one run, five hits and three free passes in six innings.

The Tampa Bay Rays took advantage of the largesse of the New York Yankees pitchers to win 4-2 in St. Petersburg.
Wander Franco notably scored the winning run when Harold Ramirez was the fourth straight batter to walk. The next batter, Mike Zunino, was hit by a shot from Ron Marinaccio, so the Florida club added two runs to the board without hitting a single ball.
Luis Severino (3-1) had homers for Ji-Man Choi and Taylor Walls previously, suffering his first setback this season. He gave up four runs, two safe hits and two free passes in six-and-a-third innings. Shane McClanahan (5-2) earned the win.
Gleyber Torres and Aaron Judge homered in the loss.
